High Carbon Chromium Bearing Steel – Strong & Wear-Resistant

Product Details

Characteristics:

High Carbon Chromium Bearing Steel features a micro organization that, after heat treatment, is comparatively even and stable. It offers good abrasion resistance, high stress fatigue strength, excellent size stability, and strong anti-abrasion properties. This type of bearing steel can satisfy the requirements of working under general operating conditions.

Application:

Now high carbon chromium bearing steel SUJ2 and GCr15 with high hardenability have been developed its performance are superior than GCr15 and can be used as a substitute on the railway bearing, roll mill bearing and mine machinery bearing.

Features:

Good overall performance. After quenching and tempering, the hardness is high and uniform, and the wear resistance and contact fatigue strength are high. It has good hot workability and good processability after spheroidizing annealing.

Application:

Used in general plastic molds, automobiles, machine tool bearings, steel balls, rollers, bushings, etc.

Suitable for bearing and transmission-related industrial parts

Typical Applications

High carbon chromium bearing steel is widely used in industrial applications such as railway bearings, roll mill bearings, mine machinery bearings, steel balls, rollers, bushings, machine tool bearings, automobile parts and transmission-related components. It is suitable for parts that require wear resistance, hardness and stable performance under load.

How to Choose the Right High Carbon Chromium Bearing Steel Grade

Choose your grade based on the required hardness, wear resistance, fatigue performance and actual application. For general bearing parts, steel balls, rollers and bushings, SUJ2 is a strong starting point. For transmission-related applications and bearing components used in industrial machinery, GCr15 may be more suitable.
